What makes the the kjv special?

There is a lot of mystery surrounding the King James Bible and it's nature. Is the king james version the sacred book with the actual words of God?  Is the KJV simply a translation of the bible with antiquated language and fallible manuscript processess? Some will agree to both. But really there is a wider range of options.  This article does not assume that the king james was re-inspired. It assumes it is a translation of a perfect greek and Hebrew.  But yet this translation is special. It is not just any translation. It is the authorized translation of the Bible in English.  Other translations of the perfect text can be Good. But a deep study of the scriptures reveal that this is God's word specifically for english speaking people revealed in providence and prophecy.
This article is specifically focus from an internal scriptural argument.  There is a lot of evidence to bolster the case, however I wanted first establish the biblical merit.
The basic outline of the revealed thoughts.
A. God needed to reveal God's Word to mankind.
B. God preserved His Word in the Holy Bible.
C. The nations and languages of the World are responsible to provide the Word of God/Bible.
D, The world system was defiled by babylon and influence the world empires in Nebuchadnezzar's dream,  The prophecy shows christianity infecting the empire and shattering it with the kingdom of God established.
E,  This brings light to typological prophecy showing the "time of reformation" and christ coming "in the volume of a book"
F Britain being the first nation openly welcome christianity. Influenced by Jewish laws creating english writing,  separating from Roman rule and  finally authorizing the word of God in the volume of the book.

Revelation:
Job 19:23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!"

Men are in need of God's special revelation..

Hebrews 1:
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;"
God's Word was spread everywhere yet there is a focal point in scripture and is capstone of revelation is the lord Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 1:18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost."
The scripture is the Word of God and no in origin the Word of man. These men effectively had as much of their personal input into these revelations as Balaam's Donkey.  This is not to saythat Gods presenting the revelation through the prophet withtheir personality.

Inspiration
2 Samuel 23:2 The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.

Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding."

Psalms 12:The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

2 tim. 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."

Regulative principal: Do not add to scripture
Deuteronomy 4:Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you."
Proverbs 30:
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."
Revelation 22:
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

The Bible has specific limits as to it's  inspiration.

Preservation
psalm 119:89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.

Isaiah 59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seedsaith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever."

matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."

The Church

matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."

1 john 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1 Corinthians 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God12 Now we have receivednot the spirit of the worldbut the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."

1 peter 4:11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1 peter 2:But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
malachi 2:The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.

1 Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth."

2 peter 3:That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:"
1 peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Acts 11:And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Acts 13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul."

Christianity is officially recognized first in Antioch.

translation
The prophecy of the unknown tongue.
Isaiah 28:And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate. But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment. For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept line upon line, line upon line;here a little, and there a little:11 for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.12 To whom he said,This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest;and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.13  But the word of the Lord was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little;that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.14  Wherefore hear the word of the Lord,ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us:for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:"

So initially here we see Israel in a stage of apostasy.  God is going to Curse Israel with his word in a foreign tongue and the fact was that the mysteries whichy the prophets revealed demanded precision precept upon precept.  The drinkeness of the priest made them miss the very "rest" pronided for in the Gospel.

1 Corinthians 14:And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.11 Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me."

The word of God must be available to the common man,  The nation must provide the words for the Gospel to be communicated through. But as we we see in the tale of babel many languages causes confusion.
The authoritative word of God is thus hidden. "Common people" still read the kjv.  But the evangelicals find it to be strange because the word is dim in their eyes.  They are used to not understanding the bible word for word. Simply reading one then several versions will show that there is a great deal of uncertainty expressed in every verse. Religion is then reduced to warring subjective philosophies.  NonChristians are now able to discern bible doctrine easier than contemporary evangelicals because it is easier to discern what you stand against, if you are not certain what you stand for.

1 cor. 14: 21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord. 22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe. "

The standard
Language is actually a national and political issue.God has set up at least 3 normal instituions for civilization.  1st the family then the Government and finally the church.  Language is first and foremist under the authority of the Government.

genesis 11:Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

Avts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:"

Genesis  10:
The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan."

Genesis 10:31 These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

Proverbs 16:10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment"
Tarschish and the isles ofthe gentiles are ancient references to what werefer to today as the british Isles.

The Book
john 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me."
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
This always reminds me that in sign language you make a sign for nail scarred hands andthen book to sign Bible because it is the "Jesus Book":.

Psalm
40:Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest."
hebrews 10:Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Isaiah 36:16 Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.  17 And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein."

So here we see that the scripture is prophesied to be a single volume book.  there are only a few full volume bibles historically speaking. The Kjv was not the original title. it was oroginally simplky the "Holy Bible".

The time of reformaton

Daniel 2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Daniel 2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him."
The iron is the roman empire.  the two legs split is the split of East and western empires around 1000AD. The clay mixing with iron is the holy roman empire engulfing the roman empire,

Typological prophecy
"Fifth, typology also presupposes that history is redemptive in purpose and in design, that God is working in history toward the goal of his gracious saving purpose that culminates in Christ." https://credomag.com/2013/07/typology-as-prophecy-fred-zaspel/

matthew 1:14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son."
hosea 11:When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt."
A typological prophecy is different than a predictive prophecy.  This is not a prediction as much a comment on history in God's plan.  Here is an example of a typological prophecy.
The prophecy was a statement about Israel.   But it was not making a prediction.
Jesus is however literal coming out of egypt as a sign. The sign is that Jesus is the true or greater Son of God than the nation. Thus where others failed, christ succeeds.  Yet we also there is still a timed event, Because indeed Jesus was literally in egypt and then called out of the lamd..

Hebrews 9:The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us."
the gentiles had been fulfilling Nebuchadnezzars dream.  The time of reformation was coming to bring Christ into their lives.

matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."
mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
Revelation 5:
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
The Gospel of the kingdom is the goodnews that the messiah has come..  christendom had reached the world with this message even though the orthodoxy had been defiled.  But now in the time of reformation the gospel of salvation has been liberated  And the saints have been called out of basically every nation.

Straining at gnats.
Matthew 23:34Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel."
People will have questions about the perfect edition of the KJV and the perfect edition of the textus receptus.
The Bible is for those with the faith of a child.  It is not a faith only for the scholars.  many believers get trapped either way to the right or to the left by this teaching.
Regular christians have no ability to weigh in on this issue and these difference make no practical change at all. we have to understand God communicates to us in weighs that are understandable.  While somethings demand deep study, they are still at least obtainable.

One way the opposition moves the goal post.  Is they misunderstand the difference between collation and translation.
translations can not be collations.  and collations can not be translations.
The textus receptus IS the ELSIFER edition.  when you understand the difference between translation and collation you will know this was stated as an inerrant collation.  it finished after the kjv.  But the KJV did not need to be so precise because it was simply explaining the text to us in English.  The 1611 edition was perfect for it's audience, But concerning the english language changes on the subject of spelling and grammar.  I would lean towards the Cambridge edition over the Oxford. However, the spelling does not change the meaning of the text.
The perfection of the KJV was perfect meaning "complete". So you can read the king James translation and get all the revelation you need. Afterall, the differences in the editions are microscopic. And a translation does not demand this level of precision.
