Generally speaking (because do any two people anywhere believe the exact same things?) we here at UC hold that:
- Jesus Christ was divine. In the course of his dutiful incarnation on earth he therefore easily (what with being divine and all) performed what to him alone weren’t miracles at all. As a means of providing for the irrevocable reconciliation of humankind to God (and so of course for each person to him or herself) he allowed for his bodily execution on the cross; by way of (yet again) proving that he was divine he then rose from the dead; for the benefit of all people he left behind the totality of him/her self in the form of the indwelling Holy Spirit, which is readily and easily available to everyone. " [It sounds good at first, Jesus is divine, but irrevocable reconciliation of mankind sounds like universal-ism. Public execution rips away at the idea of propitiation. As if the cross accomplished nothing. Christ is feminized to have no sexuality and The Holy Spirit loses His person. thus denying the trinity]
- The Bible is not a contract stipulating the rules for being a Christian. It is an ancient, massive, infinitely complex tome comprising songs, visions, histories, dreams, parables, commandments, and more. Christians seeking to follow the Word of God must look to all the words of God, ever seeking within those words the spirit of Jesus Christ. This means never failing to choose love, compassion and charity over adherence to any Biblical “law” that in practice or spirit violates Christ’s Great Commandment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. [ So the words testament and covenant loose absolutely all meaning. it claims there are no rules and then they dictate what rules we are supposed to follow?]
- Christianity
is supposed to be all about nothing more (and nothing less!) than
living a life of love, compassion, fairness, peace, and humility. [these words have no meaning and easily are embodied in the life of Hitler

d. peace, after hitler conquered people there was peace with him in control of everyones lives.
e. humility) hitler served the people of germany the remainder of his life.] - The Biblical scholarship supporting the idea that Paul never wrote a word condemning natural homosexuality is more credible and persuasive than is the scholarship claiming that he did. Moreover, we remain mystified as to how any follower of Jesus could choose damning an entire population over obeying Jesus’ Great Commandment to love God and one’s neighbor as oneself. [What is Biblical Scholarship? What gives it authority? What is a population? False dicotomy.]
- God does not want any woman automatically “submitting” to her husband or to anyone else.
{Here is a great more conundrum. If women are not supposed to submit, then are men supposed to submit? Sub mission is an implication of humility. Should we be a prideful society? How can we take up our cross if we will not submit to others? By saying women should not submit are we not tempting women into sin?] - Using
masculine pronouns to refer to God is strictly a matter of convention, a
profoundly unfortunate necessity of the English language, which to date
offers no satisfactory alternative. But God is neither male nor female.
God is always, at once, both and unimaginably more.
[At this point liberals have castrated their Jesus, denying God's masculine identity is denying His personhood into a form of pantheism.] - The
belief that throughout history God chose to introduce himself in
different ways into different culture streams is more reasonable,
respectful, and compassionate than is the conviction that there is only
one correct way to understand and worship God.
{This is the anti-semitic god. Progressive Christianity wants a right to idolatry which is rapidly obvious as demonic.]
Deuteronomy 5:7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me. 8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters beneath the earth: 9 thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me, 10 and shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments." - There
is no support in the Bible for the morally repugnant idea that hell is
an actual place to which God sentences people to spend eternity in
mortal agony.
mark 9: 42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. 43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if t[hine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."
matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal." - God’s will and intention is to forgive and teach us, not to judge and punish us.
[Matthew 19: 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first."
1 Cor. 6: 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life? " - Anyone desiring to mix Church and State has failed to understand the nature and proper role of either."
Agreed!!! Ironicly many progressive groups are well known for housing democrat candidates and being an extension of government socialist policies and pandering for their funding - God can handle converting people. Our job is to love people.
In other words the Satanist hate the spread of the gospel. - An all-powerful God and the theory of evolution are not incompatible.
You can never tell if an all powerful God created the world by evolution because evolution is supposed to be chaos not requiring such power. Plus...

But in and of itself divorce is not immoral.

single most telling indicator of a person’s moral character has nothing
to do with how they define or worship God, and everything to do with
how they treat others.
John 4: 22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
