Evidence of the world-wide global flood

The nature of modernism of the Western world has been quick to scoff over the idea of the world wide global flood.  Many have had the audacity to claim this event as entirely fiction.  Arguing against childhood depictions of "Noah and the Ark" toys for toddlers.Yet here in the real world there is massive amount of evidence world wide testifying to it's sudden destructive past.   The arguments are audacious in the sense that they argue theory verses recorded history.   In reality all one has to do is argue that the flood was feasible and the rest of the case makes it self.
The problem is that modernism demands that the flood be a natural phenomena to the point that there was absolutely nothing miraculous involved.  The problem with that is the fact that God is the perpetrator of this global disaster; and God is more than at liberty to provide miraculous acts.  So while many in the field of creation science may ponder this event and provide multiple theories on how this took place.  All that is actually required is evidence that it did happen.
For instance, the erection of the Great pyramids, specifically in Giza has been a great mystery.  Even today, there is much debate over how the Egyptians were able to accomplish such a feet.  Engineers are often baffled by this monument.  But we never doubt it's existence since the evidence is there and observable.

Scripture
genesis 6: And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. 13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth."
As indicated by vs.7 not only is man destroyed but all beasts, creeping things and fowls of the air will be destroyed.  this must be a global flood since animals birds and humans could escape local floods.
Genesis 7:
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. 13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; 14 they, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort. 15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. 16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.
17 And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth. 18 And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters. 19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered. 20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. 21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man: 22 all in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. 23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark. 24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days."
As we can see the breaking of the fountains of the deep and opening of the windows of heaven all take place at a specific years, month and day.   The rains fall and the waters remain over the earth for a specific amount of time.  The text is careful to indicate the death was of dry land creatures. (vs. 21-22)  the text also indicates that covering was over the "whole heaven".  We know that the whole heaven covers the whole earth, proving that the flood was global.  The mountains were even covered.

Genesis 8:
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged; the fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained; and the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated. And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made: and he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth. Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground; but the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark. 10 And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark; 11 and the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth. 12 And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.
13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. 14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.
15 And God spake unto Noah, saying, 16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee. 17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth. 18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him: 19 every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
20 And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. 21 And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. 22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
So here we see the waters slowly asswage, sinking back and forth into the earth.  It is clear that this passage is intended to be factual as information which is not particularly entertaining detailed, as oppose to the many flood myths.

psalm 104:5 who laid the foundations of the earth,
that it should not be removed for ever.
Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment:
the waters stood above the mountains.
At thy rebuke they fled;
at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.
They go up by the mountains;
they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.
Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over;
that they turn not again to cover the earth."
Here David is confirming Faith in the world wide global Flood.  Singing this psalm So that Israel will remember the greatest cataclysmic event in world history.

matthew 24: 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Luke 17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
We also See that Christ Parallels this event with His second coming.  If the judgement of the Flood was not universal; How could the judgement of the 2nd coming be universal?

2Peter 3:Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
Here Peter states the fact the world died by water, Showing that the New Testament teaches a global Flood.

Flood myths
"According to Dr. Duane Gish in his popular book Dinosaurs by Design, there are more than 270 such stories, most of which share a common theme and similar characters. So many flood stories with such similarities surely come from the Flood of Noah’s day."
In fact there have been much higher figures since then.

Flood Legends
Chart adapted from B.C. Nelson, The Deluge Story in Stone, Appendix 11, Flood Traditions, Figure 38, Augsburg, Minneapolis, 1931.

So Here we have strong historical confirmation that the flood was an actual event.   After all such a diversity of witnesses demands it.

Historical Flood geology
"Many geologist believe that the entire world was flooded this was not simply a fundamentalist viewpoint.
It took a Biblical literalist to found the science of earth history and Nicolas Steno (1638-1686) was this watershed figure. His success earned him the title of "founder" of the sciences of crystallography, paleontology, stratigraphy, and earth history, if not the father of geology itself. Steno grew up in northern Europe during the Protestant Reformation but made his mark in geology while in northern Italy, where he followed on the heels of Galileo. Steno was first and foremost a Flood geologist, who saw the earth as having a finite history dominated by creation, the flood, and coming judgment. For him there were no "prehistoric ages," for earth and man were both created during the same six-day span only a few thousand years ago. Although it may come as a surprise to geology students, Flood geology gave to scientists what they didn't have before -- a linear view of Earth history.
Steno's geology was politically incorrect for another reason -- he incorporated intelligent design into his reasoning. He observed the remarkable similarity between the natural (inorganic) growth of crystals in the laboratory and the growth of the mineral that composes the shells of living organisms. Shell growth is controlled by an ordering principle, a teleonomy, by which the calcium carbonate conforms exactly to the form of the soft-bodied creature it contains; i.e., a clam shell grows in such a way as to perfectly enclose the creature inside. No such ordering principle is found in inorganically formed crystals, only repetition. When he demonstrated apparent design and purpose in fossil shells, Steno demonstrated (contra-Aristotle) that fossils are the remains of once-living organisms. He used intelligent design to do it.
In Steno's day it was considered scientific to think fossil shark's teeth "grew" within the earth and were invested with magical powers. Called "tongue stones" for their shape, Steno noted that they often showed signs of abrasion or decay. From this he implied they were not being formed at the present time but were relics of an earlier period. Processes currently acting on them were not creative but destructive. He saw what Darwin and so many others have missed. Again, he invoked intelligent design to do it.
How odd that Steno is universally praised today for his accomplishments in geology, yet spurned (on two counts) for his methods of arriving at them. Steno believed a literal Genesis."

Water soaked into the earth
"Is there enough water for a World Wide Flood? Yes there is. In the past few years using seismic tools. They have found that a mineral called ” wadsleyite” holds 2% water by weight. That may not sound like much until you realize how much wadsleyite exists in the upper mantle of the earth. Figures show that 2% would work out to be somewhere around 30 oceans worth added to the water that we already know exists. And this has been tested in more than one place by more than one scientist which makes the results observable and repeatable which is empirical evidence. Which means evolutionists can no longer deny the possibility that a flood of this magnitude could happen."http://www.yecheadquarters.org/?p=1627

sunken continental plates

"Much of the present sea-bottum was once dry land. " pg. 121
One proof of this is large numbers of "seamounts".  "which are nothing but drowned islands out in the middle of the ocean.  These are flat-topped, and therefore non-volcanic in formation, and are nowin many cases more than 1,000 fathoms below the surface." pg. 125  "These are fossil landforms preserved in the depths of the sea, where they are disturbed on by light currents and the slow rain of pelagic material from the waters above." Edwin L. Hamilton "The last Geographic Frontier: the Sea Floor,"  Scientific monthly, vol 85, December 1957, p. 303
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d9/2003-3d-hawaiian-islands-usgs-i2809.jpg
"Can we seeker's after truth, shut our eyes any longer to the obvious fact that large areas of Sea Floor have sunk vertical distances measured in miles?" Kenneth K. Landes, "illogical Geology." Geotimes, Vol. III, No.6 (March 1959), p.19.

Now with the continental plates being partially submerged and yet the continental plates being so distinct from the sea floor we would have to believe that the earth according to natural law was different.  Either the plates were at one time completely over the sea level once.  Or the plates were completely submerged under the water.  Now if the earth was once completely submerged under the water that would contradict the  uniformitarian geological assumption of vulcanism. which is the foundation for the geological column.  Now if the earth was completely emerged (like pangea theory) then we have to admit that water at some point swallowed up a vast percentage of thew continents.  So we have to explain why the water was not originally there. Also how the earth ended up emerged.

Liquifaction and the chaotic column
While we have a geologic column in the earth, we do not have anything close to a consistent column.  these layers are scattered chaotically everywhere.
Why is this so?
"Liquefaction—associated with quicksand, earthquakes, and wave action—played a major role in rapidly sorting sediments, plants, and animals during the flood. Indeed, the worldwide presence of sorted fossils and sedimentary layers shows that a gigantic global flood occurred.  Massive liquefaction also left other diagnostic features, such as cross-bedded sandstone, plumes, mounds, and fossilized footprints.
Sedimentary rocks are distinguished by sharply-defined layers, called strata. Fossils almost always lie within such layers. Fossils and strata, seen globally, have many unusual characteristics. A little-known and poorly-understood phenomenon called liquefaction (lik-wuh-FAK-shun) explains these characteristics. It also explains why we do not see fossils and strata forming on a large scale today.

We will first consider several common situations that cause liquefaction on a small scale. After understanding why liquefaction occurs, we will see that a global flood would produce liquefaction—and these vast, sharply defined layers—worldwide. Finally, a review of other unusual features in the earth’s crust will confirm that global liquefaction did occur.

Quicksand.  Quicksand is a simple example of liquefaction. Spring-fed water flowing up through sand creates quicksand. The upward flowing water lifts the sand grains very slightly, surrounding each grain with a thin film of water. This cushioning gives quicksand, and other liquefied sediments, a mushy, fluidlike texture.3

Contrary to popular belief and Hollywood films, a person or animal stepping into deep quicksand will not sink out of sight forever. They will quickly sink in—but only so far. Then, they will be lifted, or buoyed up, by a force equal to the weight of the sand and water displaced. The more they sink in, the greater the lifting force. Buoyancy forces also lift a person floating in a swimming pool. However, quicksand’s buoyancy is almost twice that of water, because the weight of the displaced sand and water is almost twice that of water alone. As we will see, fluidlike sediments produced a buoyancy that largely explains why fossils show a degree of vertical sorting and why the world’s sedimentary rocks are usually layered sharply.

Earthquakes.  Liquefaction is frequently seen during, and even minutes after, earthquakes. During the Alaskan Good Friday earthquake of 1964, liquefaction caused most of the destruction within Anchorage, Alaska. Much of the damage during the San Francisco earthquake of 1989 resulted from liquefaction. Although geologists can describe the consequences of liquefaction, few seem to understand why it happens.  Levin describes it as follows:

Often during earthquakes, fine-grained water-saturated sediments may lose their former strength and form into a thick mobile mudlike material. The process is called liquefaction. The liquefied sediment not only moves about beneath the surface but may also rise through fissures and “erupt” as mud boils and mud “volcanoes.” 4

Liquefaction was captured on film after the 9.0 Japanese earthquake on 11 March 2011. In a city park built over a landfill in what was part of Tokyo Bay, subsurface water that had been trapped in the sediment’s pore spaces is seen erupting through cracks produced by the swelling of the land.[See www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3hJK1BoRak, and www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x_kS3Bm6fA&feature=related.]

Strahler says that in a severe earthquake:

... the ground shaking reduces the strength of earth material on which heavy structures rest. Parts of many major cities, particularly port cities, have been built on naturally occurring bodies of soft, unconsolidated clay-rich sediment (such as the delta deposits of a river) or on filled areas in which large amounts of loose earth materials have been dumped to build up the land level. These water-saturated deposits often experience a change in property known as liquefaction when shaken by an earthquake. The material loses strength to the degree that it becomes a highly fluid mud, incapable of supporting buildings, which show severe tilting or collapse.5

These are accurate descriptions of liquefaction, but they do not explain why it occurs. When we understand the mechanics of liquefaction, we will see that liquefaction occurred globally—for weeks or months during the flood.
Visualize a box filled with many rocks. If the box were so full that you could not quite close its lid, you would shake the box, so the rocks settled into a denser packing arrangement. Now repeat this thought experiment, only this time all space between the rocks is filled with water. As you shake the box and the rocks settle into a denser packing arrangement, water will be forced up to the top by the “falling” rocks. If the box is tall, many rocks will settle, so the force of the rising water will increase. The tall column of rocks will also provide great resistance to the upward flow, increasing the water’s pressure even more. Water pressure will exert a lifting force on the rocks for as long as the upward flow continues."Dr. Walt Brown http://www.creationscience.com/onlinebook/Liquefaction.html
an excerpt from "In the beginning: Compelling Evidence for creation and the Flood"

Also layering easily happens with water.
here is a demonstration...

So as the video displays, it is quite easy for the earth to layer.  So the combination of earthquakes and floods contributed to our geologic column.

Pre-cambrian: explosion? or catastrophie?
Why is there such a massive amount of fossil in this one type of Rock?  Perhaps instead of thinking that all these animals just randomly evolved in a historical period that can not be accounted for either by the evolutionary family tree nor the geologic column.  Perhaps all these fossils are together because they died in roughly the same catastrophe.

"One of the most famous features of the fossil record that evolutionists have a hard time explaining is the ‘Cambrian explosion’. Most extant basic animal bodyplans simply appear in the fossil record in the Lower Cambrian rocks with next to no antecedent evidence of their existence in the rocks.1 Therefore, the major bodyplans of animals all had to evolve very quickly, which is stretching the bounds of plausibility. However, paleontologists have recently identified another ‘explosion’ in the fossil record in the Ediacaran ‘period’, which they dubbed the ‘Avalon Explosion’ (‘dated’ 635–542 Ma ago).2
The Ediacaran biota is a group of fossils of multicellular organisms that are found directly below the Cambrian (‘dated’ 542–488 Ma), and they consist of a wide range of morphologies. However, both their origin and relationship to Cambrian animals is a complete mystery to evolutionists. They are typically divided up into three major fossil assemblages: the Avalon (575–565 Ma), White Sea (560–550 Ma) and Nama (550–542 Ma) assemblages.3 All these assemblages display an incredibly wide array of morphology, and there is no trace of them in the fossil record above the Ediacaran period."    "What’s worse is that the Cambrian and Ediacaran explosions bear no relationship at all to one another. Therefore, this sort of ‘evolutionary explosion’ had to happen twice. Once stretches credulity to breaking point—twice blows it out of the water completely.
The sudden appearance of this diverse assemblage of Ediacaran biota, of course, provides no problem for a creationist understanding of the fossils. They are simply another grouping of organisms that were overwhelmed and fossilized by the Flood."  by

"It took a global flood to tap that capacity, Dr. Smith and Dr. Harper propose. They base their proposal on a study published last year by Shanan Peters of the University of Wisconsin and Robert Gaines of Pomona College. They offered evidence that the Cambrian Explosion was preceded by a rise in sea level that submerged vast swaths of land, eroding the drowned rocks.
“There’s a big kick that correlates with the sea level rise,” Dr. Smith said of the fossil record. He and Dr. Harper propose that this kick happened thanks to the new habitats created by the sea level rise. These shallow coastal habitats were bathed in sunlight and nourished with eroding nutrients like phosphates. Animals colonized these new fertile habitats, Dr. Smith and Dr. Harper argue, and evolved to take up new ecological niches."   Carl Zimmer quoting  Paul Smith and David Harper      http://www.nytimes.com/2013/09/20/science/new-approach-to-explaining-evolutions-big-bang.html?_r=0
Here we see evolutionary biologist consenting to the pre-Cambrian explosion being the product of a worldwide flood.

Vast Sedimentatary Rock)"Sedimentary rock is formed when mineral matter of plants and animals settle out of water and, less commonly, air or ice. The most common materials for sedimentary rocks are fossils, formed when sediment covered dead plants and animals as the sediment changed into rock. The remains are outlines of the dead plants and animals. Some limestone is made entirely of fossils, microscopic sea life, and is deposited in oceans. Sedimentary rock covers about three fourths of the land area, and most of the ocean floor. Where the earth's crust is deformed or eroded, large areas of buried sedimentary rock may be exposed. In some places, such as the mouths of rivers, the sedimentary rock is 12,000 meters thick."http://www.edu.pe.ca/southernkings/sedimentaryec.htm
So If there were a world wide flood you would expect a lot of erosion.

transcontinental sedimentation)
How is sediment supposed to be scooted from end of a continent to another?  By streams, vlcanoes?  or a global flood?
Here Russian geologist assume that it scooted for 200million yrs.
http://geology.geoscienceworld.org/content/36/9/699.abstract?tdate=%252F%252F&HITS=10&sortspec=relevance&field_name=fulltext&hits=10&fdate=%252F%252F&andorexacttitle=and&maxtoshow=&FIRSTINDEX=0&resourcetype=HWCIT&searchid=1&RESULTFORMAT=1&field_value=lena
"However, there is no evidence of channels or deltas from such a river. Today’s rivers do not build anything like the massively thick sedimentary layers observed in Siberia and North America. Indeed, “how could water be flowing across the North American continent consistently for hundreds of millions of years? Absolutely impossible!2"http://www.icr.org/articles/view/4208/270/
In summary the world-wide flood was a historic record of historic event.  It is an established scientific theory of geologey by the people who established geology.  It is consistent to the amount of water we have and the amount of water that seems extra.  It has damaged much of our landscape in ways that only it can do and the is in a disarray which obviously left by it.

What does this tell us?
Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,"
The fact of the universal Flood shows us that God is ready and willing to judge His creation.  you will not be able to talk God out of His justice.  You must rely on His grace while you still have time.

1 peter 3
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water."
God had a judgement, though He is careful to save even a small remnant from His wrath.  For the sake of 8 souls he built the Ark.  How much more willing will he be to save us believers from His coming Judgement?

2 Peter 3: that ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour: knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."  God already predicted secularists who would scoff at His revelation 2,000 years ago.  Yet the Flood is a fact.  God's Judgement is a fact.  Yet God loves us and wants to have mercy on us in hopes that we will repent of our unbelief and live for Him.  But that day of Judgement will come immediately and we must not waste our time.  I am rushing to finish this article now in hopes of relaying that message.
2 corinthians 6:
We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain. (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Acts 16: 27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. 28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. 29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? 31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. 32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house. 33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway. 34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
