The religious argument for the option to reject the current gene therapies or so-called vaccines in the covid pandemic.

This article is one for religious liberty.  It is not one mandating That Christians are universally not allowed.  After hearing Robert Jeffries here
 https://churchleaders.com/news/405526-religious-arguments-covid-vaccine-robert-jeffress.html
I realize that Jeffries has deified the government and in refusing to support his congregations biblical and constitutional liberties and in so doing has compromise the Baptist faith and put his congregation possibly in harms way.

Baptist faith and message 2000 XVII. Religious liberty
"God alone is Lord of the conscience, and He has left it free from the doctrines and commandments of men which are contrary to His Word or not contained in it. Church and state should be separate. The state owes to every church protection and full freedom in the pursuit of its spiritual ends. In providing for such freedom no ecclesiastical group or denomination should be favored by the state more than others. Civil government being ordained of God, it is the duty of Christians to render loyal obedience thereto in all things not contrary to the revealed will of God. The church should not resort to the civil power to carry on its work. The gospel of Christ contemplates spiritual means alone for the pursuit of its ends. The state has no right to impose penalties for religious opinions of any kind. The state has no right to impose taxes for the support of any form of religion. A free church in a free state is the Christian ideal, and this implies the right of free and unhindered access to God on the part of all men, and the right to form and propagate opinions in the sphere of religion without interference by the civil power."

Genesis 1:272:7Matthew 6:6-7,2416:2622:21John 8:36Acts 4:19-20Romans 6:1-213:1-7Galatians 5:1,13Philippians 3:201 Timothy 2:1-2James 4:121 Peter 2:12-173:11-174:12-19.

Prov. 23:1 When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:2 And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.3 Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat."
Biblical wisdom is teaching us not to be trusting of the government for our way of living because the government can easily take advantage of us.

Daniel 1:But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat."

Here the Jews, would not trust the secular government with their health over biblical health standards and they were blessed for their faith. Remember importantly Babylon assumed that their health standards were more healthy, so they did not need to have malicious intent to be rejected.

Romans 14:
1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God."
We have liberty in serving the Lord, our convictions do not have to be equivalent to the viewpoints of millionaire preachers. [1tim. 3:3"not greedy for filthy lucre" jeffries has a 1.5million$ networth]

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
Notice "witchcraft" this word is synonymous with sorcery.  Pharmekiea in Greek. Obviously a sin involving the use of drugs.  Being that this vax is in an experimental stage and years early it is obviously employing faith as opposed to pure science.

Acts 8:
But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:

:18 And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money,19 Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.20 But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.21 Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and in the bond of iniquity."
Pharmakeia is the greek word for sorcery and we see the obvious attachment to pharmacies.  We see that simon the sorceror had a sinful lifestyle which was associated with thie practice.

Nahum 3:4 Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.Behold, I am against thee, saith the Lord of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame."
A nation can stand in judgment for it's flagrant abuse of drugs/sorcery.   It is obvious that regardless of this issue our nation is guilty of this sin and is in line for judgement. In fact many of the calamities our nation has experience indicate that Judgement has begun.

unholy things:
lev 22:
Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the Lord, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LordWhat man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;"
Jew standards of holiness demand that we not get involved with the dead.   The use of aborted babies would equal an obvious violation
Numbers 5:2
Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:"
Numbers 6:
All the days that he separateth himself unto the Lord he shall come at no dead body.
Once again, getting involved with dead people is unholy.
Deut. 14:21 Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk."
If it is not holy to injest the rotting carcass of a baby sheep, then why would think it holy to have anything to do with a baby human?

Deuteronomy 14:1:
Ye are the children of the Lord your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead. For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing."
Titus 2:14

Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."

1Peter 2:
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;"

Being that Christians have the similar demand of being peculiar in our holiness these passages are therefore applicable to our decisions regarding the covid  gene therapy alledged "vax".

Jeffries argued that the cell lines were not indeed actual fetal tissue but the cell lines came from an originally aborted fetus.  Thus benefitting from the death of the unborn and more importantly validating the practice of abortion.
Jeffries tries to nullify the opposition by claiming this practice upon other products.  Regardless of whether or not this practice is more widespread, it does not effect the question of moral right and wrong.  Was it wrong to fight Hitler because it took a massive war to stop the holocaust?
More importantly rejecting the reasoning of people does not disqualify their liberties.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Here we see the state has no ability to altar the free exercise of religion.  So you would not for instance be able to make a rule forcing jews to eating unkosher food.  In fact, there are rabbis who are often paid to inspect food products to make sure they are of kosher standards. Thus this principle has been well worked out in society.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
"the people to be secure in their persons"   "shall not be violated" translates to the "my body, my choice" argument which is used to defend abortion.  However the argument over personal medical issues is much stronger because there is no debate over what a person is in this situation.

These are the highest laws of the land and if Jeffries was honestly trying to support the government he would support the highest laws.
